A family import business, months of hands-on supplier research, and a process built the hard way.
SourceFlo didn't start as a business plan. It started with a family import business, and the slow, sometimes expensive process of learning how Chinese sourcing actually works — not the version you read about, but the version where you find out the hard way that a "factory" is actually a trading company, or that a certificate someone sent you doesn't hold up when you check it properly.
Over months of hands-on supplier research, the process eventually stopped being guesswork. Verifying a business license, telling a real manufacturer from a reseller, cross-checking a certification against the body that actually issued it, working out what a quote really costs once freight and duty are added — none of it is complicated once you know what to look for. Most first-time importers just haven't had a reason to learn it yet.
SourceFlo is that process, offered to other businesses so they don't have to learn it the same way. We're based in Slovenia and work with businesses across the EU, UK, US, and Canada. No invented case studies, no client logos we don't have yet — just a process built from real, hands-on experience, applied to your sourcing the same way we apply it to our own.
I didn't set out to build a sourcing agency. My family has been importing from China for years, and I've spent months deep in supplier research myself — learning the hard way how to tell a real factory from a trading company, how to catch a fake certification, and what a landed cost actually adds up to. SourceFlo is that process, built for other businesses that shouldn't have to learn it the hard way too.
